Hello and welcome. I am an illustrator from Dublin, now based in Co Wicklow. I’m mainly self-taught though I have had some instruction at different times in my life. I use coloured pencils and I also like to work with gouache, ink and a little watercolour. I love detail and colour and I like to portray the beauty in life whether I find it in a dilapidated building or in a sweet childhood scene.

My colourful hand-drawn pictures seem to fall into three categories: House Portraits, Children’s Illustration and Fabric Illustration. Along with my attention to detail and sense of colour, I think the common thread through my work in these three areas is an appreciation of life in the present and in the past and how the two can overlap.
